Indications:
Traditionally used in Chinese medicine to relax and open the bowels, eliminate dampness in damp heat pattern, and clear internal heat of a damp heat pattern.

Actions of the Main Herbs:
Clears Damp-Heat, soothes the Liver and drains the Gallbladder. Traditionally used in Chinese medicine to expel damp heat from the liver.

Dosage & Course of Treatment:
Adult: Take 3 capsules, twice daily, one hour away from meals.

Ingredients (per capsule):

  • Artemisia frigida (Yi Chen Hao) extract – 60 mg (equivalent to 360 mg dry herb)

  • Lysimachia christinae (Kuo Lu Huang) extract – 60 mg (equivalent to 360 mg dry herb)

  • Taraxacum mongolicum (Asian dandelion) extract – 30 mg (equivalent to 180 mg dry herb)

  • Gardenia jasminoides (Shan Zhi Zi) extract – 24 mg (equivalent to 144 mg dry fruit)

  • Abrus cantoniensis (Ji Gu Cao) extract – 24 mg (equivalent to 144 mg dry herb)

  • Alisma orientale (Ze Xie) extract – 24 mg (equivalent to 144 mg dry rhizome)

  • Crataegus pinnatifida (Shan Zha) extract – 24 mg (equivalent to 144 mg dry fruit)

  • Curcuma longa (Yu Jin) extract – 18 mg (equivalent to 108 mg dry tuber)

  • Rheum palmatum (Da Huang) extract – 18 mg (equivalent to 108 mg dry root & rhizome)

  • Citrus aurantium (Zhi Ke) extract – 18 mg (equivalent to 108 mg dry fruit)

Cautions & Contraindications:

  • This product may have a laxative effect.

  • Caution for those on anti-coagulant medications.

  • Prolonged use may cause serious bowel problems.

  • Use in children under 12 years is not recommended.

  • Avoid coffee, deep-fried foods, fatty food and alcohol.

  • Seek advice from your healthcare practitioner before using during pregnancy or lactation.

  • Do not use when abdominal pain, nausea or vomiting are present, or if you develop diarrhoea.

  • Not recommended for use by pregnant and lactating women or women likely to become pregnant.
