Indications:
Traditionally used in Chinese medicine to activate Blood and unblock collaterals. Indicated for pain (e.g. due to arthritis, trauma, coronary heart disease, endometriosis, menstrual pain, neuralgia), arteriosclerosis, chloasma (dark spots on the skin), hepatomegaly and splenomegaly.
Actions of the Main Herbs:
Traditionally used to activate Blood and dispel Blood-Stasis. The formula activates the Blood, dispels Blood-Stasis and alleviates pain.
Dosage & Course of Treatment:
Adults: Take 3 capsules, twice daily, one hour away from food, or as directed by your healthcare professional.
Ingredients (per capsule):
Salvia miltiorrhiza (Dan Shen) extract – 75 mg (equivalent to 450 mg dry root)
Boswellia carterii (Ru Xiang) extract – 75 mg (equivalent to 450 mg dry sap resin)
Commiphora myrrha (Mo Yao) extract – 75 mg (equivalent to 450 mg dry sap resin)
Angelica polymorpha (Dong quai) extract – 75 mg (equivalent to 450 mg dry root)

Cautions & Contraindications:
Caution for those on anti-coagulant medications (i.e. Heparin, warfarin or aspirin).
Caution in patients taking drugs to treat Parkinson’s syndrome (e.g. levodopa).
