Indications: Wind-Heat or Damp-Heat affecting the nasal passages, often associated with allergic rhinitis, sinus congestion, sinusitis, or chronic nasal inflammation with underlying Liver and Lung disharmony. Commonly used for nasal obstruction and related upper respiratory symptoms.

Signs & Symptoms: Nasal congestion or obstruction, runny nose (clear or yellow discharge), sneezing, sinus pressure or pain, headache (especially frontal), itchy nose or eyes, post-nasal drip, reduced sense of smell, possible red or irritated nasal passages, a tongue coating that may be thin white or yellow depending on Heat or Dampness, and a floating or rapid pulse.

Actions of the Main Herbs: The formula clears Heat, dispels Wind, resolves Dampness, opens the nasal passages, and supports Lung and Liver function. It helps reduce inflammation in the sinuses and improves airflow through the nasal cavities.
