Indications: Kidney Yang deficiency with underlying Yin and Essence deficiency, often associated with symptoms of lower back and knee weakness, cold intolerance, fatigue, and signs of declining vitality. Commonly used for chronic deficiency patterns involving the Kidney, especially when Cold predominates with underlying depletion.
Signs & Symptoms: Low back and knee soreness or weakness, fatigue, cold limbs, aversion to cold, frequent urination (especially at night), clear and profuse urine, possible edema in the lower body, dizziness, tinnitus, decreased libido, pale or swollen tongue with white coating, and a deep, weak, or slow pulse.
Actions of the Main Herbs: The formula tonifies Kidney Yang while also nourishing Kidney Yin and Essence, supporting both warming and replenishing functions.
