QI & BLOOD TONIC Formula - Dangshen, Astragalus & Dang-Gui - Ren Shen Yang Rong Tang
Indications:
Traditionally used in Chinese medicine to warm and nourish Yang. Qi & Blood Tonic Formula is indicated for severe fatigue, anxiety neurosis, irregular or delayed menstruation with scanty and pale flow, poorly healing skin lesions, and debility following surgery.

Actions of the Main Herbs:
Traditionally used to tonify Qi, nourish Blood, strengthen the Spleen, nourish the Heart, and calm the Spirit. It is traditionally used to replenish Qi and replenish Blood.
Dosage & Course of Treatment:
Adults: Take 3 capsules, twice daily, one hour away from food, or as directed by your healthcare professional.

Astragalus membranaceus (Huang Qi) extract – 37.5 mg (equivalent to 225 mg dry root)
Paeonia lactiflora (Bai Shao) extract – 30 mg (equivalent to 180 mg dry root)
Rehmannia glutinosa (Di Huang) extract – 30 mg (equivalent to 180 mg dry root)
Codonopsis pilosula (Mi Zhi Dang Shen) extract – 30 mg (equivalent to 180 mg dry root)
Atractylodes macrocephala (Bai Zhu) extract – 30 mg (equivalent to 180 mg dry rhizome)
Angelica polymorpha (Dong Quai) extract – 22.5 mg (equivalent to 135 mg dry root)
Poria cocos (Fu Ling) extract – 22.5 mg (equivalent to 135 mg dry fruiting body)
Ziziphus jujuba (Hong Zao) extract – 22.5 mg (equivalent to 135 mg dry fruit)
Citrus reticulata (Chen Pi) extract – 15 mg (equivalent to 90 mg dry fruit peel)
Schisandra chinensis (Wu Wei Zi) extract – 15 mg (equivalent to 90 mg dry fruit)
Polygala sibirica (Yuan Zhi) extract – 12.51 mg (equivalent to 75.06 mg dry root)
Zingiber officinale (Sheng Jiang) extract – 12.51 mg (equivalent to 75.06 mg dry rhizome)
Glycyrrhiza uralensis (Gan Cao) extract – 12.48 mg (equivalent to 74.9 mg dry root)
Cinnamomum cassia (Rou Gui) extract – 7.5 mg (equivalent to 45 mg dry stem bark)

Cautions & Contraindications:
Use caution in individuals taking anti-coagulant medications (e.g. heparin, warfarin, or aspirin). Contains Glycyrrhiza, which may potentiate prednisone and corticosteroids by prolonging steroid biological half-life; use with caution in patients with hypertension. Discontinue use during an episode of the common cold or influenza.
