DIGESTIVE TONIC Formula - Xiang Sha Liu Jun Zi Tang
Indications:
Traditionally used in Chinese medicine to replenish Qi. Xiang Sha Jun Zi Tang is indicated for chronic gastritis, chronic duodenitis, morning sickness, poor digestion, food allergies, candidiasis (gastrointestinal), gastroduodenal ulcers, chronic bronchitis, asthma, allergic respiratory disorders, chronic colitis, chronic fatigue syndrome, general debility, and post-surgery debility.
Signs & Symptoms:
Chronic gastritis, chronic duodenitis, morning sickness, poor digestion, food allergies, candidiasis (gastrointestinal), gastroduodenal ulcers, chronic bronchitis, asthma, allergic respiratory disorders, chronic colitis, chronic fatigue syndrome, general debility, and post-surgery debility.
Actions of the Main Herbs:
Traditionally used to tonify Qi, strengthen the Stomach and Spleen, dry Damp and resolve Phlegm, regulate Qi, and harmonise the Middle Jiao (Stomach and Spleen). It is traditionally used to invigorate the Spleen and soothe the Stomach.
Dosage & Course of Treatment:
Adults: Take 3 capsules, twice daily, one hour away from food, or as directed by your healthcare professional.

Codonopsis pilosula (Mi Zhi Dang Shen) extract – 56.1 mg (equivalent to 336.6 mg dry root)
Atractylodes macrocephala (Bai Zhu) extract – 42.3 mg (equivalent to 253.8 mg dry rhizome)
Poria cocos (Fu Ling) extract – 42.3 mg (equivalent to 253.8 mg dry fruiting body)
Lindera strychnifolia (Wu Yao) extract – 42.3 mg (equivalent to 253.8 mg dry root)
Pinellia ternata (Ban Xia) extract – 42 mg (equivalent to 252 mg dry tuber)
Citrus reticulata (Chen Pi) extract – 28.2 mg (equivalent to 169.2 mg dry fruit peel)
Amomum villosum (Sha Ren) extract – 23.4 mg (equivalent to 140.4 mg dry fruit)
Glycyrrhiza uralensis (Gan Cao) extract – 23.4 mg (equivalent to 140.4 mg dry root)
Cautions & Contraindications:
Do not take at the same time as iron supplements as the tannins in Crataegus fruit interfere with the absorption of iron.
