STRESS RELIEF 1 Formula - Jia Wei Xiao Yao San
Indications:
Traditionally used in Chinese medicine to soothe Liver Qi and replenish Blood in the Liver Qi Stagnation pattern. Jia Wei Xiao Yao San is indicated for stress-related disorders, irritability, depressed mood, menstrual disorders, mastitis, mammary dysplasia (fibrocystic breast disease), bruxism, and Crohn's disease.

Actions of the Main Herbs:
Traditionally used to soothe the Liver, nourish Liver Blood, tonify Spleen Qi, and clear stagnant Heat.
TCM Syndrome:
Liver Qi constraint with stagnant Heat (or Fire) and Spleen Qi deficiency.
Dosage & Course of Treatment:
Adults: Take 3 capsules, twice daily, one hour away from food, or as directed by your healthcare professional.

Paeonia lactiflora (Bai Shao) extract – 38.7 mg (equivalent to 232.2 mg dry root)
Poria cocos (Fu Ling) extract – 38.7 mg (equivalent to 232.2 mg fruiting body)
Bupleurum falcatum (Chai Hu) extract – 29.1 mg (equivalent to 174.6 mg dry root)
Angelica polymorpha (Dong Quai) extract – 38.7 mg (equivalent to 232.2 mg dry root)
Atractylodes macrocephala (Bai Zhu) extract – 38.7 mg (equivalent to 232.2 mg dry rhizome)
Paeonia suffruticosa (Mu Dan Pi) extract – 38.7 mg (equivalent to 232.2 mg dry stem bark)
Gardenia jasminoides (Shan Zhi Zi) extract – 38.7 mg (equivalent to 232.2 mg dry fruit)
Glycyrrhiza uralensis (Gan Cao) extract – 12.9 mg (equivalent to 77.4 mg dry root)
Zingiber officinale (Sheng Jiang) extract – 9.6 mg (equivalent to 57.6 mg dry rhizome)
Mentha haplocalyx (Bo He) extract – 16.2 mg (equivalent to 97.2 mg dry herb)
Cautions & Contraindications:
Use with caution if taking anti-coagulant medications (e.g. heparin, warfarin, or aspirin) or sedatives. Contains Glycyrrhiza, which may potentiate prednisone and corticosteroids by prolonging their biological half-life; use with caution in patients with hypertension.
