Indications:
Disruption of fluid metabolism due to Taiyang stage disorder or Spleen dysfunction, leading to accumulation of Dampness and water retention, including edema, urinary difficulty, and digestive disturbance.

Signs & Symptoms:
Edema (especially of the lower body), difficult or reduced urination, abdominal distension, diarrhea, nausea or vomiting, thirst with a desire to drink but poor fluid distribution, headache, dizziness, a heavy sensation in the body, possible fever with sweating, a pale tongue with a white or greasy coating, and a floating or slippery pulse.

Actions of the Main Herbs:
Ze Xie (Alisma rhizome) promotes urination and drains Dampness, helping eliminate excess fluid accumulation.

Fu Ling (Poria) strengthens the Spleen and leaches Dampness, supporting fluid metabolism.
