Shu Gan Wan - Black Pearl Cyperus and Peony Formula pill 35g
Indications:
Liver Qi stagnation affecting the Stomach and digestive function, including stress-related indigestion, bloating, epigastric discomfort, and impaired Qi movement.
Signs & Symptoms:
Abdominal distension and fullness, epigastric or hypochondriac discomfort, bloating, frequent belching, acid reflux, nausea, poor appetite, chest tightness, irritability or emotional tension, symptoms that worsen with stress, a wiry pulse, and a thin or slightly greasy tongue coating.
Actions of the Main Herbs:
Chai Hu (Bupleurum root) soothes Liver Qi and relieves stagnation, helping to restore the smooth flow of Qi throughout the body.
Xiang Fu (Cyperus rhizome) regulates Liver Qi and alleviates distension and pain, particularly in stress-related digestive patterns.
Bai Shao (White peony root) nourishes Blood and softens the Liver, helping to relieve cramping and harmonize Liver function.
Chen Pi (Tangerine peel) regulates Qi and supports digestion, helping reduce fullness and bloating.
